Advanced Electrical Motor Design

Electrical Machine Design, analytical as well as by finite element codes are regolarly carried out. Finite element analysis is often combined with optimisation algorithms when involved tasks are required. A software program has been developed for analysing and designing the electrical motors and their drives. This program is constantly improved and updated, and it is used by several companies in our region.
Our research covers different types of machines: Synchronous and Trapezoidal PM Motors, Induction Motors for Flux Oriented Control, Reluctance Machines, Linear Motors and Actuators; with particular care to their low cost, high efficiency, drive operating, low noise. Research collaboration as well as confidential consulting on motor design are possible.
